Space Emergency

A simple little adventure that I'm playing using Minecraft 1.8.1 and a couple of mods.

Mods installed

• Somnia v15 - Simulates the world while I sleep
• Rei's Minimap - A small HUD map in the top right corner of the screen
• Better Than Wolves - Windmills, Waterwheels, a use for wolves.
• Build craft 2.2.1 - Adds a lot of heavy duty blocks to the game
• Industry Craft 2 - Adds electric furnaces and other nice features (Nuke's anyone?)
• Equivalent Exchange - Magic, and Alchemy
• Zeppelin 1.8.1.0.16 - Allows you to make blocks fly around the world.
• Recipe Book - All the recipes for everything in minecraft
• Shelf - Got to show off some things on a shelf
• Treecapitator - Timber
• Starting inventory - Sets your inventory to a set option, but only for the start of new worlds

Plus the pre-requirements for the above mods.

I have TMI installed, but will not be using it, if I do use it for anything other than for checking a mods installed then I will have failed the game.

Background

I am a Space Dwarf flying around the galaxy in my Mk III asteroid mining ship "Roidmurder" when I run out of fuel. The ship has scanned the local planet and found that it contains the raw materials to make the star drive fuel (Dark Matter Blocks), unfortunately it is unable to locate the blocks directly, but the raw materials to make the fuel is in plenty of supply. This is where the adventure begins.

Goal

To win the adventure I have to make 2 stacks of dark matter blocks.

• Iron Shovel
• Iron Axe
• Iron Sword
• Airship control module
• raw materials to make a simple air skimmer ship (11 planks, 1 fence gate)
• 32 torches
• Recipe book

Planetary report

Scans have indicated that there are vegetation and animal life forms that are eatable, so no food generating equipment will be supplied on beam down. Clone vats have limited power supply left, so you are limited to ?? replacement bodies before we run out of all power.

Supplementary scan report

Night time scans indicate some potential threats, removing re-spawn marker from beam down toolkit, replacing it with a basic sword. Death of the potential threats indicate that their bodies may contain useful items to acquiring the star drive fuel faster, updating the recipe book with instructions using these new items...
