How to participate in the discussion

Okay, here's a crash-course on how to use the wiki here. You need to be registered to edit pages on the wiki. Once you are, get over here and hit the + button at the top to start a new thread or hit the edit button to respond.

  • The wiki will not sign your name automatically, please add --~~~~ (that's two dashes and four tildes) to sign your name there (along with the date of your reply).
  • When replying to a discussion paragraph, the accepted method is to use ever-deeper nesting of bullet points.
    • For instance, this would be a reply to the previous paragraph.
      • And this to the one sentence above.
        • If the discussion gets too deeply nested (use your judgement), feel free to move it around, but don't edit what other people said. We can check this, and we will.
  • Overall, be nice.

Project Zomboid Marathon

We should do a project zomboid marathon -- Longweird

  • I'm not sure what you're talking about -- is it this? --Narc (talk) 15:38, 25 June 2011 (EEST)

Child's play

I would like to suggest (if we do decide on a new channel) that we start it off with some sort of fund raiser for Child’s play (or some other charity ) We could schedule our streamers to take up a full 24 hour event. Maybe getting Coe involved for the kick off. It could not only raise funds for the charity but can act as a major announcement to our new channel. --VtArcher 16:24, 25 June 2011 (EEST)

  • Some ideas for a charity event.
    • 1. If Coe does get involved we could set up cameras to watch what he and his friends do`. Instead of him actually streaming. I think when people come to watch Coe they would rather see him than just his hand or inventory.
    • 2. We can take this opportunity to improve our relations with Coe’s other groups of friends (inc Dewtroid, Satori. Etc.) by asking them to be involved in a possible build-a-thon. They seem to have real interest in the charity and are really nice people who we should be friends with.
    • 3. If we could get someone from the Childs play organization a copy of mine craft and have them on during a build-a-thon (At least in the beginning and the end).
  • To raise funds
    • 1. We could sell/auction builds we (and others who may want to donate) have done. This would be a good way to promote the “Precipice games” sever.
    • 2. I know the idea of having people donate to come on the server used for the event is already in use. What we could do for higher donations is make videos (length is up for discussion) of them working with Coe or others and post them on the channel or just send them a copy. This could be for what they might build or just a meet and greet with Coe or someone the donator might be interested in interacting with.
    • 3. If the entire event isn’t minecraft we could accept donations to play other games with the current streamer.--VtArcher 18:14, 25 June 2011 (EEST)

Random Guest Star

I suggest that every now and again some people should play multi-player games with a few randomly selected viewers and maybe 2 or 3 commentators. Possible minecraft (?) custom maps or survival maps or something else a little smaller in size. --Arccharger 16:49, 25 June 2011 (EEST) Arccharger

  • I really like this idea --Narc (talk) 17:01, 25 June 2011 (EEST)

Proelium Combat Game, Event?

Angel and I run the Proelium game better regularly now, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, at the moment at least there may be more. This is Minecraft of course and is now tied to Precipice, however Black has streamed this done game play commentary, like a sports caster for sports game. The people watching seemed to enjoy it, we do it regularly, and anyone can join in to the game. --Katoe 16:58, 25 June 2011 (EEST)Katoe 16:46, 25 June 2011 (EEST)

Free games - reviews, testing, modifying

Streamers pick free, not popular game and look at as review object. Open source games let us modify them, which may be interesting an entertaining Live. Perhaps it will result with release of patch for said game, or it might end up as fork and livestream-dedicated version of the game.

Viewers can post suggestions of free games to be on stream. They also can post suggestions for changes or fixes on bugtraq, it the game will became livestream project. Also free multiplayer games will be opportunity for viewers to interact more with streamers and streaming content.
