Progenitor measuring units
From NarcWiki
The Progenitor measuring system is similar to the human metric system, but because Progenitors have 12 fingers on each hand, their numbering system is in base 12, which affects the prefixes used. For simplicity, all numbers in the stories will be given in decimal. Thus, 1 kiropra and 1,728 pras are the same weight (of approximately 0.96 kg).

Length and Distance
lenter == approximately 0.9 meters; initially, half of the agreed-upon average height of a typical Progenitor; now defined in more precise terms (distance traveled by light in a vacuum in a given fraction of the base time unit); variant: lentra, used often when referring specifically to a length (as opposed to a distance). Both variations are accepted in either case, though.
1 kirolenter == 1.5552 km; close to a mile (1.609344 km);
Mass / Weight
pra == approximately 0.56 grams; most commonly used as the kiropra, which is approximately 0.96 kg. Thus, a kiropra is close to a kilogram, and either one may be approximated for the other.
Special note: average gravitational force at surface level of T'hai Laks (the Progenitor homeworld) is approximately the same as that on Earth. This simplifies things immensely, I know.
Author's Note
The base units here were chosen specifically to keep some ease of conversion (approximate conversion, in any case), while fitting a base 12 counting system. More units may be added over time, as they become needed.
